“You … you loved me?”
“Of course I did. Serena you’re the most beautiful, amazing, alive person I’ve ever known.”
Day Two:
Your favourite Nate quote.
“Serena, you’re the most beautiful, amazing, alive person I’ve ever known.”

And I’d give up forever to touch you, Cause I know that you feel me somehow, You’re the closest to heaven that I’ll ever be, And I don’t want to go home right now.

30 Days of Nate & Serena
Day One: The moment that made you a Serenate shipper

Let’s Talk Gossip Girl Ratings, Chuckistans Prt. I (c) lokiyan [full post]Season 2: Man, look at that drop. If ever there was a season that lost large numbers, it’s this one. Over a million viewers lost between the premiere and the finale! The ratings slowly decline, as it does after buzzed about premieres, but it really drops below the 3 mil mark at Bonfire of the Vanity - aka the start of the Bass daddy issues. Remember that episode? I didn’t, so I wikipedia’d. That was the one with the Dan hanging out with Bart and the book and expose and zzzzzzzzzzzz.
And then the Bart death happened and the whole business with the will and Chuck fighting Jack started a huge downward trend. You’ve Got Yale! took a huge hit of 600,000 viewers and again, I had to wikipedia - this was the one where “Chuck pairs with an unlikely ally in his war with Jack.”

→one: Blair is my favourite character. Because she is a fierce fierce bitch and she has pretty clothes. And I love her. So much. I want to cry.
→two: ‘Roman Holiday’ (1x11) is my favourite episode. It’s Christmas, it’s pretty coats, it has that darling moment between Dan/Serena in the gallery, it has my otp: Blair and winter clothes. It’s so perfect.Season one was like gods gift to the world.
→three: I have an OTP and it’s name is Dair and it is so perfect and everything is amazing except for the fact that the writers treat them as a teaser to get viewers but never really give them a go. But that’s shipping life for you, if it doesn’t want you to scream, cry, drive your car through your tv, then you’re just not doing it right.
→four: I watch GG half of the time for the fashion.
→five: Before/during/after GG is spent contemplating how Blake Lively even came to be as she is so gorgeous that I want to shave off my face and feed it to some seals because it really is not fair that she is just so perfect. Ugh. SHE’S TOO PERFECT.
→six: Chace Crawford/Nate Archibald look like they would be one fine make out. I quite enjoy watching it on screen. Mmmm. Chace.

For all the Dair shippers who have been upset by recent spoilers, just look at season five. There is no way Dair is never getting explored, look at this build up in this season alone. Keep the faith fellow shippers ♥

“In the film Sabrina, Audrey Hepburn said “I have learnt how to live… how to be in the world and of the world, and not just to stand aside and watch and I will never, never again run away from life or from love, either.” While it may sound a bit strange, I feel the same way as Sabrina. And it’s because of you, Blair Waldorf. You have taught me how to live, how to enjoy everything the world has to offer. You have brought out this side of me I never thought existed. Before you, I did not truly know how to live.”

When I first read the article in EW about the 100th episode of Gossip Girl and came across the snippet about Nate and Serena not sharing any moments through the episode, I almost couldn’t believe what I was reading. The penultimate episode, number 100, that’s been hyped as having countless callbacks to the pilot doesn’t include the catalyst for almost everything that happened in the pilot? The episode that’s supposed to go back to GG’s roots doesn’t even mention the original OMG moment? How is this possible? How is a couple that has so much history, so many fans and so much potential simply excluded?! It makes absolutely no sense. And I think this is where we stop it.
Other fans think that Nate and Serena supporters have no voice, that we’re not loud enough. Although the media buzzes about them from time to time, we are rarely a trending topic on twitter, the writers rarely mention Nate and Serena in interviews and this couple that was once so strong and beautiful together suddenly seems so far in the past it’s futile. I say it’s not.
How about we come together on the night of the 100th episode and tweet our hearts out about Nate and Serena. Let the writers know that it’s completely ridiculous that they aren’t included in an episode that should practically be an ode to their sexcapade at the Shepard Wedding, since that’s the storyline that kicked off the entire series.
It doesn’t matter if you rant for tweets upon tweets or if it’s a simple #rememberserenate, however, I think it’s important that we let the writers know that we haven’t forgotten what these two shared and what they could share again, if only they’d wake up and get out of this incessant need to bring Dan and Serena back together for the 1000th time.
Nate and Serena have always been and should always be a part of this show, whether thats in a romantic capacity or something geared more towards friendship, it’s simply not fair that they were excluded from an episode that’s meant to callback to the beginning of the show, which, may I remind these writers, was full of Serenate. So, let’s show everyone how awful it is: on Monday, January 30th starting at 8PM, or even sooner if you’d like, tweet, tweet and tweet some more about Nate and Serena, using the hashtag #RememberSerenate. It could really do a lot to show these writers that we miss them just like CB fans do every week.
Pass the word on and let’s do this thang.
Thank you!
