To all the Babies crying about ratings, you are aware that Nielsen ratings only count if you have a certain cable box don’t you? Hence why networks don’t put that much stock into ratings anymore with all of the new media and technology. A network exec will look at downloads over ratings since they are more accurate and GG is usually the number one downloaded show by the tuesday after it airs and having Dair has done nothing to change that.

Another point of discussion is the fact that season three and the beginning of season four barely got any press yet season five (even with the low ratings) is consistantly being talked about in the media because of the Dan/Blair/Chuck triangle. The writers are fully aware that the reason they are getting so much press is because of the triangle. If they were to put chuck and blair back together it would basically be been there done that and there would literally be nothing to report about GG.

One more point is the fact that the Chair fans that are actively hating on Dair/threating to quit the show/sending hate mail to the writers are actually in a roundabout way giving the show more press and attention that they have had in a while. So keep it up your only helping the case for Dair by drawing attention to all the things you hate about it. Dair is Forbidden fruit the more you complain and call it wrong, the more people are going to want and talk about it and the more the writers are going to keep the storyline going. Threatening to quit the show but logging online after every episode to spew hate about it is actually giving the show steam not taking away from it.

Keep up the good work Chair fans, in a weird twist of fate you have become Dair’s biggest supporters :)
